Q: Why can't I go into sales before recruiting?

A: At TEKsystems, we strive to promote from within. Employees seeking sales positions begin their career as a recruiter and have an opportunity to move into sales or professional recruiting. This allows you to learn our business from the inside before selling our services to clients as an account manager. Even the president of our company was once a recruiter.

Q: How long do people normally stay in the recruiting role?

A: Your progression with the company is based on your performance. Most people are in recruiting for 12 to 24 months, unless they advance into the professional recruiting career path. Promotions are also based on the growth of your field office.

Q: If I don't want to stay in sales or recruiting, what other positions can I move into?

A: The primary career path in our field offices is recruiting and sales. If you are interested in marketing, training and development, human resources, finance, operations, administration, or information services, positions may be available at our corporate offices.

Q: Do I need technical experience to be considered for a recruiter position?

A: No. TEKsystems provides an outstanding 13-week training program providing adequate knowledge and skills to prepare our recruiters.
